Indian, a soft target ?

To
Prime Minister of India

Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

At the outset, let me introduce myself. I am one of the fools among 110 crore. I cast my vote almost every year for electing the representatives. When I was attending Maj. Sandeep Unnikrishnana’s funeral in Bangalore, some questions raised in my mind.

Today, so many dignitaries are here to attend funeral of Maj. Sandeep who is one of the Commandos in Taj operation. They talked about Sandeep’s bravery in loud voice. These voice made me recollecting our Parliament attack in 2001. I remember our brave commandos who saved the life of our representative who are belong to various political parties. If these brave Jawans were delayed few minutes in their action, we would have lost so many representative. The brave commandos foiled the bid to desctuct the Temple of Democracy. I don’t understand why did our Jawans do it. As per my knowledge, we protect our country from enemies to protect our principles. In the time of British rule, they were implementing their principles. We fought for freedom to implement our principles. So, these jawans who are died in Parliament attack not only died for protecting few MPs, but also to protect the country’s principles. They have been awarded with some more stars on their shoulders. But we have insulted these Jawans by protecting the culprits of the Parliament attack. We are protecting the killers of our protectors. We cut the branch where we sit. The culprits of the attack are not punished merely for securing some votes. Whoever supports these criminals are not here to protect this country’s interest. So, why do we need the votes of enemies of our country ?

Can we find out all people who were helped these terrorist and can we punish them ?

Can we punish the terrorists who were caught by our commandos ?

Can we detain these terrorist until the investigation and trial gets over ? Is it safe to produce these type criminals for extending their remand ?

Knowing these difficulties, one of our brave Prime Ministers passed a law called TADA without any fear. The so-called Rajiv followers replaced the TADA with POTA, and later that was removed from the Book.

Now, our weak leadership weaken our country. I feel ashamed when 30 people attacked 1.13 billion. I feel more insecurity when I knew that our ports are vulnerable to attack. Even if our Jawans catch some intruders, these intruders will come out using the loopholes in our system. I think Rajivji, our former Prime Minister had taken initiative for NSG formation. If NSG was not formed by our leaders who had long vision, the Taj would have been charred now and obviously our prestige too.

I feel pity to myself, my children and next generation because we are in the hands of weak leadership. I also feel pity to Indiraji, who didn’t even hesitate to send our troop to Golden Temple to catch the terrorist. Now, very weak people, who can go to any extend to secure some votes are in her shoe. The NDA government was taking strict action against terrorists. They have lost the power but they have given self confidence to the citizen. I am not a BJP follower and in fact most of the time my votes gone favor to the Congress Party.

As a responsible citizen I pay income tax, education cess, service tax….etc. Our Finance Minister busy in finding new taxes. We can have terrorist ransom cess also. This amount can be paid to terrorist for avoiding further attacks ! This is the only way to protect us.

If this insecurity spreads in society, people will be against the present system. It may lead to collapse of our democracy. As per media reports, there are already parallel governments run by Naxals in North Indian states. People are not love to support Naxals, but they have no other option.

Hence, It is my request to UPA chairperson, Prime Minister, and other political leaders to reach a political consensus for taking strict action against terrorism and make a strict law to punish the terrorists.

Thanking you,
